Liquid-tight conduit fitting for 1 1/4 in trade size

This RACO 3545-3 connector joins flexible liquid-tight metallic or non-metallic Type B conduit to a 1 1/4 in MNPT box entry. The 90-degree orientation suits tight routing where a straight fitting will not fit. It is built from steel with an electro-zinc finish and gray insulation for corrosion resistance.

Thermals noise and power draw

As a passive conduit fitting the product generates no heat, produces no audible noise and draws no electrical power in normal operation. Its sole function is to maintain a liquid-tight mechanical seal around the conductors.

Bundled accessories and software

No accessories, software or strain-relief mesh are included with the fitting. Orders of $75 or more from the supplier qualify for free shipping, but that is a commercial term rather than a product feature.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 90-degree fitting on 1-1/4 in liquid-tight conduit without damaging the threads?

Thread the 1-1/4 in MNPT box connection into the enclosure first, then push the conduit fully into the body and tighten the compression nut until the ferrule grips evenly.

What parts of the RACO 3545-3 fitting will need replacement after extended service?

The compression ferrule and sealing ring can degrade from vibration and temperature cycles; replace them if the liquid-tight seal is compromised.

At what point does the 90-degree bend become the limiting factor during continuous cable pulls?

The sharp 90-degree orientation increases pulling tension and can abrade conductor insulation if the fill ratio is high or the run is long.
