Straight Nylon Cord Connector

The Hubbell Raco 4702-4 is a liquid-tight straight connector moulded in black nylon. It accepts a single cord with a diameter between .25 and .38 inches and threads into a 1/2 inch MNPT box opening. The insulated body meets UL 514B standards for general-purpose indoor or outdoor wiring jobs.

Verify Box Thread And Cord Diameter

Before ordering confirm that the enclosure provides a 1/2 inch MNPT threaded entry. Measure the cable jacket to ensure its outside diameter falls within the .25 to .38 inch range. This connector has no external strain-relief gland so the cable must be supported separately if movement or vibration is expected.

Nylon Body With Integrated Gland

The one-piece nylon construction resists corrosion and chemical exposure while the black colour coding aids quick identification in crowded panels. At 1 1/2 inches from box face to connector end the profile stays compact for tight enclosures. Because no external strain relief is fitted the connector relies on the internal compression gland to seal around the cord.
