Connector for .38–.50 in cord

This aluminum cord connector accepts a single cable with a diameter between .38 and .50 inches. It threads into a 1 in MNPT box opening and provides a straight, uninsulated termination. The gland carries a blue color code and the body is silver. UL 514B listed for compliance.

Install by threading into MNPT opening

Screw the connector into the 1 in MNPT box entry until the gland seats on the cable. No external strain-relief component is included, so the cable must be supported separately if vibration or pull-out is a concern. Overtightening the gland can deform the aluminum body and compromise the seal.

Cord range .38 to .50 in

The connector is rated only for cables measuring .38 in to .50 in outside diameter; cables outside this range will not seal correctly and will fail the UL 514B listing. Buyers needing a larger or smaller cord diameter must select a different connector size.
