12.5 cu in Switch Box
This single-gang electrical box provides 12.5 cubic inches of capacity for switch installations. The galvanized steel construction meets UL listing requirements for safety compliance. It is intended for residential or light-commercial wiring projects where a standard switch enclosure is required.
Galvanized Steel with KO Clamps
The gray-finished steel body resists corrosion in typical indoor environments. Integrated KO clamps and NMSC clamps allow direct cable entry without separate connectors. One half-inch back knockout is provided, while the sides have no knockouts, so cable routing must enter from the rear.
Model 517 Ships Direct
The box arrives as a single component with no additional brackets, covers or mounting hardware included. Installers must supply appropriate fasteners, a cover plate and any required cable connectors separately. Orders totalling $75 or more qualify for free shipping from the distributor.
