Electrical Box Cover
The RACO 724 is a galvanised steel cover designed for a standard octagon electrical box. It provides a single-gang mounting surface for switches, receptacles or luminaires in residential or light-commercial wiring. The UL Listed component ships new with captive mounting screws included for immediate installation.
Build Quality and Mounting
Formed from galvanised steel, the cover resists corrosion in damp or outdoor locations. A centred knockout allows conduit or cable entry exactly where the installer needs it, while the captive screws cannot be lost during fitting. The flat, grey finish sits flush against the box for a neat, professional appearance.
Thermals Noise and Power
As a passive metal cover it generates no heat, emits no noise and draws no power during operation. The steel construction dissipates any warmth from connected devices without adding thermal load to the enclosure. Normal use simply requires tightening the supplied screws to maintain a secure, grounded connection.
