Product Identity

The RACO LR0100 is an aluminum conduit outlet body designed for electrical raceway systems. It provides a junction point for pulling conductors and allows a directional change in conduit runs. This component suits electricians and maintenance professionals installing or modifying rigid metal conduit (RMC) or intermediate metal conduit (IMC) pathways.

Suitability

This outlet body fits installations requiring a 1-inch trade size hub with a flat back and LR-style configuration. It is not intended for hazardous-location environments. Builders needing a different hub count, body style, or material such as malleable iron should select an alternative fitting.

Deciding Specification

The critical parameter is the 1-inch trade size, which must match the conduit diameter exactly for proper thread engagement and code compliance. The body offers 12 cubic inches of internal capacity for conductor fill calculations. Verify that the connected conduit is IMC or RMC and that the LR orientation matches the planned routing direction.
