1/2 in NPT Liquid-Tight Cord Connector

This straight gray nylon connector fits a 1/2 in MNPT box opening and accepts a single cord with a diameter between .17 in and .45 in. It is rated to CSA C 22.2 No. 18, UL 514B and VDE standards for liquid-tight installations. The insulated body measures 1 11/16 in from the box face to the end of the connector. No external strain relief is included.

Replaces open knockouts or non-rated bushings

Use this connector when a code-compliant liquid-tight seal is required for a single flexible cord entering a metallic or non-metallic enclosure. The jump is worth it when the existing fitting does not meet UL 514B or when the cord diameter falls outside the range of a previously installed gland. It does not suit applications that need an integrated external strain-relief clamp.
