Nylon Build With PG9 Thread

The connector body is moulded from black nylon, offering insulation and chemical resistance without added metal components. A PG9 male thread mates directly with a matching threaded entry or locknut on the enclosure wall. No external strain-relief accessory is included, so the gland itself provides the cable grip and seal. The overall length from the box face to the connector end measures 1 1/4 in, keeping the profile compact inside tight cabinets.

Replaces Worn Or Missing PG9 Glands

This part replaces damaged, missing or undersized PG9 cable glands on existing equipment. The upgrade is worth it when the original seal has degraded, when a cable diameter falls within the .18 to .31 in range, or when compliance with CSA C 22.2 No. 18, UL 514B and VDE standards is required. It is not suited for applications needing multiple cables, larger diameters, or an external strain-relief bracket.
