Hubbell SHC1038 Liquid Tight Connector

The Hubbell SHC1038 is a straight aluminium cord connector designed for liquid-tight installations. It accepts a single cable with a diameter between .75 in and .88 in and threads into a 3/4 in MNPT box connection. The orchid gland colour provides quick visual identification while the silver body resists corrosion in demanding environments.

Installers needing colour-coded gland identification

Electricians and maintenance teams who rely on colour-coded glands for rapid circuit tracing will value the orchid marking. Projects that require insulated throats, external strain relief or multi-cord entries should look at alternative fittings because this model lacks those features.

Cable range .75 in to .88 in

The connector comfortably handles cords within the stated diameter range and provides 1 1/2 in of engagement from the box face to the connector end. It runs out when cables fall outside the .75 in to .88 in window or when an installation demands insulated construction or added strain relief that this unit does not supply.
