Product purpose

The Hubbell SHC1053 liquid-tight connector secures a single cable of 1.13 in to 1.25 in diameter into a 1 1/4 in MNPT box entry. It is built for installers who need a straight aluminum fitting with a silver finish and no external strain relief.

Interface limits

The straight body measures 1 11/16 in from the box face to the connector end. It carries CSA LR27378 and UL E54218 certifications but provides no insulated throat or gland colour coding for circuit identification.

Capacity headroom

One cable fits the published diameter range; a second cord cannot be accommodated. The aluminium body resists corrosion in damp locations yet offers no external strain relief, so the cable must be supported independently where vibration or pull-out forces are expected.
