Purpose and Audience

This temporary power cord is rated for 50 amps at 125/250 volts AC and spans 100 feet of 6 AWG cable. It is built for job-site or event power distribution where a long, heavy-duty connection is required.

Connector and Standard Constraints

The cord terminates in a CS6364L connector and a CS6365L plug, both configured for two poles and three wires. These specific ends limit use to equipment that accepts the same locking interface and the listed safety standards.

Decisive Specification

The 6 AWG wire gauge determines the safe current-carrying capacity for the full 100-foot run. Buyers needing a smaller gauge for lighter loads or a different length for shorter runs will find this cord unsuitable.

Questions about this item

Should I choose a shorter length or is the 100 ft version right for my job site?

The 100 ft length suits large sites where the power source is far from the distribution panel; a shorter cord reduces voltage drop but limits reach.

What does the 50 A rating mean when I plug tools into this cord?

It means the cable and its CS6364L/CS6365L connectors can continuously carry 50 A at 125/250 V AC without overheating, matching 50 A temporary power outlets.

How do the CS6364L and CS6365L ends affect what panels I can connect to?

The locking CS6364L connector and CS6365L plug mate only with 50 A 125/250 V receptacles built to the same standard, so the cord works with TPDL or TPDS series panels.
