Total length and split rolls

The kit contains two rolls each measuring 32.8ft for a combined 65.6ft of 5050 RGB LED tape. A single 12V power adapter drives both strips through a one-to-two IR receiver, so the two runs stay in sync without extra wiring. Ten fixing clips and a 40-key IR remote complete the package for indoor installation.

Sustained output and heat

The 12V supply keeps heat low during extended runs, and the PVC-sheathed tape is rated for continuous indoor use. The 240 LEDs draw modest power, so brightness remains stable over long sessions without thermal throttling or adhesive failure on clean, flat surfaces.

Upgrade from shorter single-roll kits

This replaces shorter single-controller strips that cannot cover large rooms or complex layouts without extra power supplies. The jump is worth it when you need 65.6ft of synchronised colour from one remote and one outlet, but it is not for buyers who want individually addressable pixels or outdoor-rated tape.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 12V power adapter produce when the 240 LED 5050 strip runs all day?

The 12V adapter is described as having extremely low heat output, making it energy-saving and safe for continuous indoor use around children and pets.

What items are included in the box so the strips work immediately?

The kit contains two 32.8ft RGB strips, a one-to-two IR receiver, a 40-key IR remote, a 12V power adapter and ten fixing clips — no extra accessories are required.

Can I run only one 32.8ft roll with the supplied controller if I keep the second roll for later?

Yes, the one-to-two receiver lets you operate a single 32.8ft roll independently; the second roll can be added or replaced without affecting the first.
