Questions about this item

Which Humminbird display must I already own to connect this XPTH-9-HW-T transducer?

Compatible displays include HELIX 5 CHIRP G2 GPS models, HELIX 7 CHIRP G2/G3 GPS and CHIRP DI G2 models, all HELIX 7/8/9/10/12 CHIRP G2N/G3N models, and ICE HELIX CHIRP G2 units in open-water mode.

Can this transducer add Side Imaging or Down Imaging to my existing HELIX unit?

No, the XPTH-9-HW-T provides Dual Spectrum CHIRP 2D sonar only; Side Imaging and Down Imaging units accept it as a 2D transducer but gain no imaging capability from it.

How do I verify the built-in temperature sensor is reporting correctly after installation?

Observe a stable water-temperature reading on the sonar screen and confirm depth returns reach the rated 1200 ft (365 m) maximum with the 150-220 kHz full-range CHIRP band active.
