Portable audio stand

The HYPE stereo speaker tripod holds tablets and phones up to 10.1 inches and connects through a 3.5 mm jack for wired playback. Adjustable legs form a stable tripod on desks or tables. An on/off switch controls the integrated speaker, which runs on three AAA batteries or USB and DC 5 V power.

Sustained playback behaviour

The single 2 watt driver delivers a frequency response of 90 Hz to 20 kHz with an impedance of 4 ohm and a signal-to-noise ratio above 85 db. Sound clarity and volume remain consistent during extended movie or music sessions. Battery or mains power keeps output steady without thermal throttling.

Wired analogue limits

The 3.5 mm stereo input accepts only analogue line-level signals and carries no digital audio or control data. Cable and power adapter are not included, so a source device with a headphone jack is required. No Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or proprietary wireless link is present.

Questions about this item

How loud does the 2 Watt speaker get when it runs all day on three AAA batteries?

The stereo driver delivers strong volume output with a signal-to-noise ratio above 85 dB, so it stays clear even during extended use.

Which cable and power source must I already have to use the 3.5 mm stereo input jack?

You need a standard 3.5 mm audio cable from your device; the speaker draws power from three AAA batteries or an optional USB DC 5 V supply.

Will the adjustable tripod legs hold my older 9-inch tablet securely alongside this 10.1-inch stand?

The legs adjust to fit tablets and e-readers up to 10.1 inches, so a 9-inch model sits firmly in the same cradle.
