  • UL certified and RoHS REACH compliant for safety assurance

NEMA 5-15P to C13 adapter pair

This two-pack of adapters connects an IEC 60320-C14 inlet on a computer power supply or monitor to a standard NEMA 5-15P wall outlet. Each unit is rated for 10 amps at 125 volts and carries UL, RoHS and REACH markings. The compact black plastic and metal housing measures 7.5 cm by 2.3 cm.

Voltage pass-through only

The adapter does not transform voltage or current; it simply passes the mains supply through to the attached device. Buyers must verify that their equipment accepts the local 125 V supply before use, otherwise damage will occur. It is unsuitable for single-voltage appliances that require a different mains voltage.

Tool-free plug fit

Installation requires no tools: push the C14 male end into the device inlet and insert the NEMA 5-15P female side into the wall socket. The three-prong polarised design prevents incorrect orientation. The only common issue is attempting to power a non-dual-voltage unit, which the adapter cannot protect against.

Questions about this item

What does the 10 A current rating mean once this adapter is in use?

It allows up to 10 amps of continuous current through the adapter, so the connected power supply or device must not draw more than that at 125 V.

What does the NEMA 5-15P to IEC 60320-C13 interface cap in practice?

The adapter provides a standard US three-prong receptacle rated for 125 V and 1250 W maximum; it does not convert voltage, so the attached equipment must already support 125 V input.

What physical space does the 7.5 cm by 2.3 cm body need to fit or mount?

The compact plastic-and-metal housing measures 7.5 cm long and 2.3 cm wide, so it fits alongside other plugs on a power strip or wall outlet without blocking adjacent sockets.
