This IBM 18P7912 cartridge uses the DAT72/DDS-5 format and provides 36GB native or 72GB compressed capacity. The 4mm tape is rated at 170M length. It is supplied as a single new pack.

Suits DAT72 drives only

This media is written for DAT72/DDS-5 drives and will not work in LTO, AIT or older DDS-1 to DDS-4 mechanisms. Buyers who need a different tape format or higher native capacity should look at other media types.
