Questions about this item

Which server model must I already own for the 94Y6593 processor to fit?

The processor is only compatible with the X3650 M4 server, so that chassis must be present for installation.

Will the 94Y6593 processor work alongside an older Xeon already installed in my X3650 M4?

The X3650 M4 supports dual-socket configurations, but both CPUs must share the same FCLGA2011 socket type and 8 GT/s QPI speed to operate together.
