104-Key Membrane Keyboard & Mouse Bundle

The iBUYPOWER Chimera KM7 is a full-size 104-key membrane keyboard paired with a wired palm-grip mouse. Both peripherals feature RGB illumination across 24 lighting zones. The set targets gamers wanting a matching desktop combo with software control. It suits users who prefer membrane feel over mechanical switches.

Membrane Switches and Wired USB Connection

Membrane keys lack the distinct actuation point and durability rating of mechanical alternatives. The mouse uses a fixed cable, so desk routing and cable length are determined by the supplied wire. RGB customisation requires the HYTE Nexus application running on a compatible operating system. Lighting zones are shared across both devices rather than per-key.

Check USB Ports and Software Compatibility

Verify your system has two free USB ports for the keyboard and mouse connectors. Confirm that HYTE Nexus supports your operating system version before purchase. Buyers who want per-key RGB control or mechanical key feedback should consider other options. The ambidextrous mouse shape may not suit claw or fingertip grip styles.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 104-key membrane version or a different layout?

The Chimera KM7 keyboard is a full-size 104-key membrane model; no alternative layouts are offered in this bundle.

How do the 24 RGB zones behave when the keyboard is connected to a PC?

The 24 lighting zones on the keyboard and the mouse diffuser are controlled together through the HYTE Nexus software on the host system.

What connection standard does the combo use and what does it limit?

Both keyboard and mouse are wired USB devices, so lighting and performance settings are managed via the USB link to the computer.
