New DLC for Circle Empires Rivals

This downloadable content expands the base game Circle Empires Rivals with fresh strategic options. It is designed for players who already own the core title on Steam and want additional factions. The product delivers an online game code that activates directly through the Steam platform. Buyers without the base game cannot use this DLC.

Two new leaders and twenty units

The expansion introduces two distinct leaders, each commanding unique armies with specialised units. Twenty new recruitable units arrive, including giant turtles, fairies, shapeshifting wolf-workers and fire-based creatures. A Terraform game mode lets you alter terrain types during matches, while a lore book adds twelve illustrated entries covering the game's factions.

Steam activation with regional restrictions

Activation requires a Steam account and is limited to select countries; numerous regions are blocked from redeeming the code. The download package contains no physical media, so an internet connection is mandatory for installation. Owners of the base game receive immediate access to the new content once the key is redeemed.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Forces of Nature DLC after buying the Steam code?

Redeem the code in Steam, ensure the base game Circle Empires Rivals is installed, then the DLC will download and appear in your library automatically.

Will this DLC need any future patches or separate purchases to keep working?

No further purchases are required; Steam will deliver any updates released by the developer for the 2020 DLC as part of the normal client update process.

What is the first limitation I will hit when playing the new Terraform mode for long sessions?

The mode relies on the base game’s engine and memory limits, so very large maps with many transformed circles may eventually slow down turn processing.
