DLC expansion for Circle Empires

Circle Empires: Apex Monsters! is a downloadable content pack that adds new creatures and leaders to the base strategy game. It requires the original Circle Empires on Steam to function and activates via a Steam account. The expansion targets players who want additional tactical variety in the existing circular battlefield setting.

Twelve monsters and twenty-one units expand

The DLC introduces twelve new monsters to hunt, six playable leaders, and twenty-one fresh units including crossbowmen, dragons, and assassin warriors. These additions integrate across all game modes, providing sustained strategic depth beyond the initial content. An autumn-themed biome further diversifies the environmental challenges during extended campaigns.

Steam code delivery with regional activation limits

The product delivers as an online game code for PC, redeemable on Steam in supported countries only. Buyers in blocked regions including RU, CN, and others listed in the specifications cannot activate the title. Ownership of the base game is mandatory, so the DLC is not for players who do not already hold Circle Empires on Steam.

Questions about this item

Does the DLC run hot or drain laptop battery during long sessions?

The add-on is a Steam download that adds 12 new monsters, 6 new leaders and 21 new units to the base game; it has no separate executable, so power draw and heat are identical to running Circle Empires itself.

What must I already own before this code will activate?

You need a Steam account and the base game Circle Empires installed; the product key unlocks the Apex Monsters! DLC inside that existing library entry.

Will the new units and leaders work with my older save files from the original release?

Yes, all 21 new units and 6 new leaders are available across every game mode once the DLC is installed, including saves created before the October 24, 2018 release.
