Pax Nova Beyond the Rift DLC for PC

This downloadable expansion adds new planetary effects, factions, technologies, events and quests to the base strategy game Pax Nova. It is designed for existing owners of the Steam version who want extended gameplay content. The product is delivered as an online game code requiring activation on Steam.

Simple Steam activation with regional restrictions

Installation requires a Steam account and the base game Pax Nova already present in the library. Activation is blocked in several countries listed in the specifications, so buyers in those regions cannot redeem the code. No physical media is included; the download begins automatically after successful key redemption.

Extended strategy sessions with new mechanics

The DLC introduces weather systems, a new Sulfuric biome and the Emissary entity that exchanges Soul Shards for planetary powers. These additions create fresh strategic considerations during long campaigns as acid rains and storms damage colonies. New factions and wild creatures provide additional replay value for sustained play.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the Beyond the Rift DLC is active after redeeming the Steam code?

Open the Steam client, go to the Pax Nova store page, and verify that "Beyond the Rift" appears under "Your DLC" with a check mark, then launch the base game and check the main menu for the new planetary effects and faction options.

What does the online game code deliver and what must I already own to use it?

The code unlocks the Beyond the Rift DLC on Steam; you must already own the base game Pax Nova on the same Steam account and have a 64-bit Windows Vista, 7, 8 or 10 system with a 3.0 GHz processor to play.

Which version of the DLC should I choose for the three new alien factions and the Sulfuric planet biome?

The single model 68040 is the only version of Beyond the Rift; it includes the Fyr sect, Yr clan, Ere Regency, the Sulfuric biome, weather events, the Emissary mechanics and all additional quests and edicts.
