Capacity and Purpose

The ICOOKPOT YSH15 is a 5 L thermo pot that holds 1.5 L of liquid for brewing tea or coffee. It suits anyone who wants programmable temperature control between 115 and 212 degrees for different drink types. Borosilicate glass and 304 stainless steel keep plastics away from the water. Buyers needing a smaller countertop footprint or a larger single-boil volume should look elsewhere.

Thermals Noise and Power

A 1200 W element brings water to a boil quickly while the keep-warm function holds the selected temperature. The glass body stays cool enough to handle thanks to a heat-resistant handle and a 360 degree cordless base. No fan or pump is present so operation is silent apart from the sound of boiling water. No other thermal or acoustic figures are supplied.

Temperature Range Decides Fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the adjustable range of 115 to 212 degrees. If your brewing routine requires temperatures outside that window this pot cannot meet the need. All other features serve that core capability.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 1.5 L glass kettle on its 360 degree cordless base, and what step do people often miss?

Place the kettle squarely on the base so the connector seats fully; the step often missed is aligning the base tabs before pressing down.

What maintenance will the 304 stainless steel infuser and mesh filter need over time?

Rinse the infuser and lid filter after each use and descale both with vinegar when mineral build-up appears.

At what temperature does the keep-warm function stop holding during sustained use?

The keep-warm range tops out at 212 degrees, so the limit reached first is the boiling point.
