  • Fits standard 5.25" desktop bays for easy installation
  • Aluminium body aids heat dissipation for drive longevity
  • Rear 40mm fan exhausts warm air to maintain optimal temperature
  • Removable tray locks to keep data secure and protected
  • Tray swaps with MB559 series and MB453/454/455 enclosures

Single 5.25in Bay Enclosure

The ICY DOCK MB876SK-B installs into a standard 5.25in desktop bay and accepts one removable drive tray. Its aluminium body aids heat dissipation while a keyed lock secures the tray against unauthorised removal. Builders who need hot-swap convenience for a single drive in a front-access bay will find it a direct fit.

Capacity and Thermal Headroom

The rear-mounted 40mm exhaust fan pulls warm air out of the chassis to keep the enclosed drive at a lower operating temperature. This active airflow extends the usable thermal envelope for sustained read or write workloads. Without additional case ventilation the single fan can become the limiting factor for very high-capacity drives under continuous load.

Interchangeable Tray Ecosystem

The supplied tray is cross-compatible with the MB559 series, the MB561 external multi-bay and the MB453, MB454 and MB455 internal multi-bay enclosures. This interchangeability lets administrators move drives between desktop, server and external docks without extra carriers. Users locked into non-compatible rack systems cannot reuse their existing trays.
