Check core diameter and voltage before ordering

The terminals accept solid cores from 0.4 to 0.9 mm (0.02 to 0.04 inch) and are rated for 4.8 V at 0.8 A. Verify that your existing wiring falls within this range and that the circuit voltage does not exceed the rating.

UL-listed PC housing with insulation-piercing

The transparent polycarbonate shell provides insulation and impact resistance while letting you confirm wire seating visually. No stripping is required; simply insert the wires and crimp with pliers or a vise for a secure, moisture-resistant connection.

Questions about this item

Does the 100-piece pack include a crimp tool or must I buy one separately?

The pack contains only the 100 K3 connectors; a vise or needle-nose pliers for crimping is not included.

Which wire gauge range does the K3 three-port model accept?

The K3 accepts solid-core wires from 0.4 to 0.9 mm diameter (0.02 to 0.04 inch).

What does the 4.8 V rating mean when I use these on a telephone line?

The 4.8 V rating is the maximum voltage the connector is certified for; typical telephone circuits operate well below that level.
