Each clamp uses a perforated band made from 201 grade stainless steel with a 305 grade stainless steel screw. They are general purpose fasteners designed to secure hoses in automotive, industrial and plumbing systems.

The SAE 24 size covers a minimum inside diameter of 1 inch and a maximum of 2 inches, with a band width of 1/2 inch.
