Commercial Wall-Mount Faucet 8" Center

The Ideaworks 4253 is a wall-mounted kitchen faucet with an adjustable 7.87 to 8.00 inch center distance. It features a 7.4 inch gooseneck spout that rotates 360 degrees for full sink coverage. Dual lever handles control hot and cold water through ceramic valves tested to 500000 cycles. The chrome-plated brass body suits commercial, laundry or utility sinks.

Verify Wall Inlets and Sink Clearance

Confirm your plumbing supplies 1/2 inch NPT female inlets at the wall. Measure the centre-to-centre distance between existing supply pipes; this unit adjusts between 7.87 and 8.00 inches. Ensure the 3 inch spout height and 7.4 inch reach clear the sink basin without splashing. Installation requires the supplied gaskets and basic tools, typically completed in under 15 minutes.

Upgrade From Fixed-Centre Deck Taps

This faucet replaces deck-mounted units that lack reach or require exact hole spacing. The adjustable centres solve misaligned rough-ins without re-plumbing. The 360-degree swivel and high-arc spout improve access for large pots compared to rigid low-profile taps. Buyers needing a pull-down spray head, touchless operation or a single-hole installation should consider other models.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and what must I supply myself?

The package includes the faucet body and mounting hardware. Supply lines and any thread-seal tape for the 1/2" NPT female inlets are not included.

How do I decide which center-distance setting to use?

The adjustable centers slide between 7.87 and 8.00 inches; measure your existing wall holes and set the faucet to match that spacing.

What does the 0.5 flow-rate figure mean at the sink?

It limits output to half a gallon per minute, giving a dense, non-splashing stream that meets water-efficient guidelines.
