iDiskk U006 128GB dual-connector flash drive

The iDiskk U006 is a 128GB USB 3.0 flash drive with both Type C and Type A connectors. It is MFi certified for direct use with Lightning-port iPhone and iPad models up to the 14 series. The silver drive weighs 19g and measures 2.44 in by 0.75 in by 0.35 in.

Upgrading from single-connector or slower drives

This drive replaces a Lightning-only stick or an older USB 2.0 device when you need faster transfers between Apple mobile devices and a USB-A computer. The jump is worth it if you regularly move 1GB files and want them copied in roughly 20 seconds at up to 85MB/s read and 70MB/s write speeds.

Check your device ports before ordering

Verify that your iPhone or iPad still uses a Lightning connector; the U006 does not fit USB-C iPhone 15 models. Confirm your computer has a free USB-A or USB-C port for the corresponding end of the drive. No driver installation is required for the supported devices.

Questions about this item

What physical clearance does the 2.44 in by .75 in by .35 in silver drive need to sit beside a laptop port?

The stick measures 2.44 in long, .75 in wide and .35 in thick, so allow at least that much space next to the USB‑A or USB‑C socket for a straight fit.

What is the correct way to start the first backup, and which step do users often skip?

Plug the drive into the iPhone Lightning port, open the iDiskk app, grant photo‑library access, then tap the one‑click backup button; skipping the permission grant is the common mistake.

When will the 128 GB capacity require offloading or a larger drive?

Once the 128 GB fill with photos and videos you must move files to a computer or cloud, or replace the stick with a higher‑capacity model, because the storage is not expandable.
