What the cable does
This 2-in-1 USB-C to 3.5 mm aux cable lets you connect a smartphone or laptop to a car stereo or speaker while charging the device at the same time. It is aimed at drivers and commuters who want wired audio without losing battery life. The built-in DAC supports up to 24-bit 96 kHz output for clear sound. The USB-C female port does not carry data.
Thermals noise and power draw
The adapter draws power only to run its internal DAC and to pass up to 60 W of charging power to the host device. In normal use it stays cool and adds no audible noise to the audio signal. Charging speed depends on the wall charger and cable you provide. No fan or active cooling is present.
What the bundle changes
The package includes one 4 ft cable and nothing else. No driver installation is required on Windows 10 or later, macOS, Android or Chrome OS. The single cable replaces a separate audio dongle and charger, reducing clutter in the car. OnePlus devices are not fully supported.

Questions about this item
How do I plug this 4FT USB-C aux cable into my car stereo and phone so it charges while playing audio?
Connect the USB-C male end to your phone, the 3.5 mm plug to the car aux input, then plug a USB-C charging cable into the female port on the dongle; the female port only passes power, not data.
Will the built-in DAC chip or the charging circuitry wear out and need replacement?
The DAC and charging chip are sealed inside the cable housing; there are no user-serviceable parts, so the whole cable is replaced if audio quality drops or charging stops working.
What stops me from getting the full 60 W charge during a long drive?
The dongle supports up to 20 V at 3 A, but actual power is limited by the wall charger and the USB-C cable you use with the female port.
