Space Saver Stereo Alarm Clock Radio

The iHome IHM50 is a wireless speaker system that combines an FM alarm clock with a USB charging port for smartphones. It uses Reson8 speaker chambers and EXB sound enhancement to deliver stereo audio while saving bedside space. Users can wake or fall asleep to either radio or streamed content from a connected mobile device.

Setup And Common Issues

Placement is straightforward because the unit runs on mains power and connects to a phone via the built-in USB port or the aux line-in jack. The main installation step is setting the clock and alarm preferences using the front controls. A frequent issue is forgetting to enable the SureAlarm battery backup, which keeps alarms active during a power cut.

Who This Suits And Who It Does Not

This clock radio suits anyone who wants a single bedside device that charges a phone, plays stereo audio and wakes them reliably with FM or device audio. Buyers who need Bluetooth streaming, multi-room audio or a larger soundstage should look at something else.
