Circular mirror with back-lit lighting

The IKEA FAXÄLVEN mirror measures 39 3/8 inches in diameter and features built-in illumination around the entire perimeter. A central light source supplements the edge lighting to provide even brightness for grooming tasks. The round, corner-free design visually expands the room and creates a soft aesthetic. Safety film on the rear reduces injury risk if the glass breaks.

Suits bathrooms needing ambient

This mirror works well for owners who want adjustable brightness and a frameless, circular profile. It requires the separate RODRET wireless dimmer for dimming control, so buyers who prefer hard-wired dimming or integrated touch controls should consider other options. The included click-on bracket simplifies installation on a prepared wall surface.

10-year limited warranty on the complete unit

The manufacturer backs the mirror, lighting system and mounting hardware with a decade of coverage. Terms are detailed in the limited warranty brochure supplied with the product. This duration applies to the assembled fixture as delivered under article number 995.167.78.

Questions about this item

How do I install the FAXÄLVEN mirror and what step is often missed?

Secure the included wall mounting bracket to the wall first, then click the mirror onto the bracket. Ensure the bracket is level and fixed to wall studs or appropriate anchors for the mirror's weight.

What maintenance or replacement will the FAXÄLVEN mirror need over time?

The integrated LED lighting is not user-replaceable. Clean the glass with a soft cloth and mild cleaner; avoid abrasive products that could damage the safety film on the back.

What is the first limit I will hit with the FAXÄLVEN mirror under sustained daily use?

The built-in LEDs are dimmable only with the separate RODRET wireless dimmer. Without it, brightness stays fixed at maximum output.
