Corner shower storage

The IKEA KROKFJORDEN basket fits into a shower corner to keep soap, shampoo and conditioner within reach. It uses suction cups that grip smooth surfaces such as tile, glass or mirrors. No drilling is required for installation. The zinc-plated steel and stainless steel construction resists rust in wet environments.

Capacity and headroom

The open wire design holds several bottles and bars while letting water drain away. It suits daily shower essentials for one or two people. Larger pump bottles or bulky multi-pack items may not fit securely. The suction cups need a flat, non-porous surface to maintain their hold over time.

Suction-cup mounting

The basket attaches with suction cups covered by metal caps for a finished look. It works only on smooth, airtight surfaces such as glazed tile, glass or mirrors. Rough stone, textured tile or drywall will not hold the cups. Renters and owners who cannot drill holes benefit from the damage-free fitting.

Questions about this item

Will the suction cups hold on my existing tile and glass shower walls?

The suction cups grip tightly to smooth surfaces such as glass, mirrors and tiles, so they work on typical shower walls without drilling.

How can I tell the basket is mounted securely after I press it in place?

Press each suction cup firmly against the clean surface; if the basket stays fixed when you tug it gently, the vacuum seal is holding.

Does the package include mounting hardware or do I need to buy screws and anchors separately?

No screws or anchors are included or needed — the box contains only the zinc-plated steel basket with its integrated suction cups.
