Questions about this item

What limits how long the SILVERGLANS strip can stay on under continuous use?

The strip is designed for permanent installation in the ENHET bathroom series and runs off the SILVERGLANS driver, so the driver's thermal limits determine sustained operation rather than the strip itself.

How much noise, heat or power does the 24 inch strip draw when it runs all day?

The LED strip produces no audible noise and minimal heat; all power conversion happens in the separate SILVERGLANS driver, keeping the strip cool during continuous use.

Which other IKEA parts must I already own for the 304.396.50 strip to work?

You need the SILVERGLANS driver and wireless dimmer to power and control the strip; without them the strip cannot be turned on or dimmed.
