Ilford Multigrade FB Warmtone VC Enlarging Paper

This premium variable-contrast black and white enlarging paper uses a heavyweight fibre base with a baryta coating. It delivers warm deep blacks and creamy whites for superior print quality. The semi-matte surface provides a soft, natural look suited to fine art photography.

Darkroom workflow and safelight compatibility

The paper works with most common black and white darkroom safelights and follows the Ilford optimum permanence wash sequence. It responds strongly to toning, chemical reduction and retouching techniques. You need a variable-contrast filter set and standard darkroom chemistry to use it as intended.

Discerning printers seeking warm tones

Ideal for photographers who want seven full grades of contrast via the Multigrade system and high responsiveness to toning. Not suited for colour printing, inkjet workflows or rapid machine processing. Buyers without a darkroom setup or those needing glossy or resin-coated surfaces should look elsewhere.
