Professional B&W Enlarging Paper
Ilford Multigrade FB Warmtone VC Glossy is a baryta-coated fibre-base paper for black-and-white darkroom printing. It delivers warm deep blacks and creamy whites with variable contrast across seven full grades. The 8x10 inch format suits enlargers that cover that size and comes in a pack of 25 sheets.
Darkroom Requirements
You need a working black-and-white enlarger fitted with Ilford Multigrade filters or an equivalent variable-contrast filtration set. A safelight appropriate for warm-tone papers, standard B&W chemistry, trays or a print processor, and a temperature-controlled wash area are also essential before you start printing.
Archival Behaviour Under Repeated Use
The heavyweight fibre base resists curling and holds dimensional stability through extended wash and toning sessions. Emulsion response remains consistent across multiple prints, allowing predictable contrast control and reliable toning results during long darkroom sessions.

Questions about this item
Does the 25-sheet pack include any filters or chemicals, or must they be purchased separately?
The pack contains only the 25 sheets of glossy enlarging paper; Ilford Multigrade filters, developer, stop bath, fixer and toner are sold separately.
How do I decide between the different contrast grades when printing?
The paper offers seven full variable-contrast grades; select the grade by placing the matching Ilford Multigrade filter in the enlarger light path.
What does the variable-contrast range mean when I am making a print in the darkroom?
It lets you shift from very soft to very hard contrast in seven steps using filters, so you can match the negative density without changing paper type.
