Professional Black & White Enlarging Paper

Ilford Multigrade FB Warmtone VC is a heavyweight, baryta-coated fiber-based paper for darkroom printing. The semi-matte surface delivers warm deep blacks and creamy whites. It is designed for photographers who want archival-quality prints from 35 mm or medium format negatives.

Darkroom Workflow Integration

This paper requires a traditional darkroom with enlarger, chemistry trays and safelight. It fits the Ilford Multigrade system, giving seven full contrast grades when used with Multigrade filters. The variable contrast emulsion reduces the need to stock multiple fixed-grade papers.

Creative Control Benefits

The advanced emulsion responds strongly to toning, chemical reduction and retouching techniques. Photographers can adjust contrast locally and shift print warmth to suit each image. The fiber base ensures prints remain durable and stable over decades.
