Compact percussion massager for daily recovery

The iLive 891 weighs 550 grams and measures 8.2 inches long, making it small enough to carry in a gym bag. A brushless motor keeps operating noise below 40 dB so the device can be used at home or in the office without disturbance.

Four interchangeable heads and six speed settings

The set includes four attachment heads that target different muscle groups, while six percussion speeds range from light warm-up to deep-tissue intensity. A pressure-sensing system automatically adjusts force as you press harder, and the Type-C port recharges the lithium-ion battery for 4 to 6 hours of low-speed runtime.

Suited for travellers

Buyers who want a lightweight, quiet tool for post-workout recovery or desk-induced stiffness will find the 15-minute recommended session limit practical. Users requiring longer continuous run times, water resistance or a larger form factor for two-handed leverage should consider other options.

Questions about this item

How long can I run the 891 before the brushless motor needs a cooling break?

The maker advises no more than 15 minutes of continuous use; after that let the gun cool down to protect the concealed heat-dissipation design.

Which head or speed setting will hit the 40 dB noise ceiling first?

Higher percussion speeds raise the sound level toward the stated 40 dB limit; lower speeds stay quieter during extended sessions.

What runtime should I expect from the lithium-ion pack when the gun runs all day on low speed?

The rechargeable battery delivers 4 to 6 hours at low speed, so plan on at least one Type-C top-up for a full day of use.
