Handheld Scalp Massager for People and Pets

The iLive ESM01-US is a compact, battery-powered massager designed for human scalp care and pet relaxation. Four rotating heads with 96 silicone nodes deliver a 360° sliding and kneading motion that stimulates circulation. Three speed settings let the user choose slow, fast or alternating rhythms. The IPX6-rated housing allows wet or dry use in the bath or shower.

Practical Limits of Battery Power

A full charge provides roughly one week of typical sessions before the USB cable is needed again. The device automatically powers down after 15 minutes of inactivity to preserve charge. IPX6 protection handles splashes and running water but the unit must not be submerged. Four removable heads simplify cleaning, yet the motor housing stays sealed and cannot be opened for deeper maintenance.

Upgrade from Manual Brushes and Single-Speed Tools

This massager replaces hand-held brushes that rely on wrist pressure and single-speed vibrators with fixed intensity. The jump is worthwhile when you want adjustable rhythm, waterproof convenience and a design safe for both human skin and pet fur. Buyers who need longer continuous runtime without recharging or who prefer a wired device with unlimited session time should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I pick among the three speed settings on the ESM01-US?

The massager offers Forward Slow, Forward Fast, and Forward Fast-Slow Alternating modes. A long press turns it on or off, and a short press cycles through the three speeds so you can match the intensity to your preference.

What does the 360-degree slide, knead and vibrate motion do in practice?

The 360° movement works with 96 soft silicone nodes across four rotating heads to mimic finger pressure, promoting blood circulation and easing muscle or joint tension on the scalp or body.

What does the IPX6 rating allow me to do with this massager?

IPX6 means the unit withstands powerful water jets, so you can use it wet or dry in the shower or bath. Do not submerge it, and remove the four heads for cleaning after wet use.
