Two 2.5-inch lacrosse massage balls

This set contains two 2.5-inch diameter balls made from 100 per cent natural rubber with a 45 degree hardness rating. Each ball weighs 140 grams and measures 6.5 centimetres across. They are designed for myofascial release on the back, feet, shoulders and other muscle groups. A lightweight carry bag is included for transport.

Suits self-guided trigger point therapy

The firm density works well for people who want targeted pressure on smaller areas such as feet, hands and neck. Users needing a softer surface for sensitive tissue or a larger roller for broad back coverage should look at other tools. The manual operation requires the user to control pressure by leaning against a wall or floor.

Handles focused muscle release

The 2.5-inch size and 45 degree hardness let the balls reach deep fascia around the legs, arms and feet. Two balls allow simultaneous work on paired areas or progression between spots. The firm rubber will not compress enough for broad-surface rolling or very gentle relaxation sessions.

Questions about this item

What surface do I need to use the 2.5 in lacrosse balls against for myofascial release?

A flat wall or the floor works; you lean your back against the wall and roll the ball, or place it on the floor and step on it with your foot.

Can I combine the 2.5 in balls with a 5.12 in double lacrosse ball in the same routine?

Yes — the smaller 6.3 cm diameter targets feet and forearms while the larger 5.12 in double ball covers the broader back area, so they complement each other.

How do I know the 45 Shaw hardness balls are performing as intended after I start rolling?

You should feel a focused pressure that reaches the fascia without sharp pain; muscle tightness eases within a minute or two and the balls keep their shape under body weight.
