Desk Relief for Neck Tension

The iLive GHA-501 Shiatsu Neck Massager in blue uses four germanium knobs to ease soreness, improve blood circulation and increase neck flexibility. It suits office workers, travellers or anyone wanting manual relief without batteries or charging. The wrap-around design fits around the neck for hands-free use at a desk or on the go.

Check Power and Fit Before Use

This unit requires no charging, batteries or external power source, so there is no voltage or plug compatibility to verify. Ensure you are comfortable with a manual, non-electric device that weighs 0.38 pounds and measures 14.33 by 12.83 by 9.06 inches. Buyers who want heated massage, vibration modes or automated programmes should look elsewhere.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

Because the massager operates manually, it produces no heat, no fan noise and draws zero electrical power during use. The silicone and germanium components remain at ambient temperature. There are no moving mechanical parts to generate sound, making it silent in normal operation.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and is anything else needed to start using the GHA-501?

The package contains the massager unit only; no batteries, charger or external power source are required because it operates manually.

Should I choose the four-point gentle Shiatsu or the two-point deep tissue setting on this model?

Use the four-point setting for a lighter, relaxing session and switch to the two-point setting when you want firmer, deeper pressure on specific spots.

How does the 0.38-pound weight affect comfort during a typical neck session?

At under half a pound the unit adds almost no strain, so it rests lightly on the neck without pulling or sliding during use.
