Who this massager suits

The iLive Richie House 001 is a battery-powered neck massager with heat designed for adults who want portable relief from muscle tension. It weighs 130 grams and fits around the neck for use at home, in the office or while travelling. The device offers 10 selectable modes so users can adjust intensity to their preference. It is not for buyers who need a mains-powered unit or a larger full-back massage appliance.

Sustained-use behaviour

A 15-minute automatic shut-off stops each session, limiting continuous heat and acupressure cycles to that duration. The built-in battery powers the unit without a cable during use, and the manufacturer states the cells meet international safety standards. No figures for battery runtime per charge or recharge time are supplied. The plastic shell measures 14.33in W x 12.83in H x 9.06in D when laid flat.

What to check before ordering

Verify that a wrap-around neck design is comfortable for your anatomy and that you can operate the mode controls while wearing it. Confirm you are happy with a device that must be recharged between sessions rather than running from a wall outlet. Ensure the blue colour and 130-gram weight match your portability expectations. No software, app or wireless pairing is mentioned in the specifications.

Questions about this item

Does the 130 g massager get hot or drain its battery fast during a full day of use?

The unit weighs 130 g and runs on an internal battery with a 15-minute auto-off, so heat build-up and power draw stay low during typical sessions.

What charging cable or adapter must I already own to power the Richie House 001?

The massager is battery powered and charges via the included USB cable; any standard USB-A port or charger you already have will work.

Will the 10 massage modes feel too intense on a sensitive neck compared with older basic massagers?

Ten adjustable modes let you start gentle and increase intensity gradually, so you can match the feel to your comfort level.
