Targeted muscle relief
The iLive TP-61 massage ball is a hand-powered therapy tool for trigger-point release and myofascial work. Its dense EVA foam construction and new grip pattern keep the ball stable against walls or floors during use. Athletes, office workers and anyone with plantar fasciitis or general muscle tightness can apply focused pressure to hands, feet, shoulders and larger muscle groups. The compact sphere travels easily in a gym bag or desk drawer.
Capacity and headroom
At 3.15 inches in diameter and 0.22 lb, the ball suits small surface areas such as feet and hands while still addressing bigger muscles. The manufacturer rates the foam to withstand up to 500 lbs of compression, giving ample headroom for deep body-weight pressure. Users seeking broader coverage or a softer surface for very sensitive spots may find the firm density and single-ball format limiting for full-back sessions.
Thermals noise and power
No electricity, batteries or moving parts are involved, so the ball produces zero noise and generates no heat during operation. Power draw is non-existent because motion is entirely manual. The foam material stays at ambient temperature regardless of session length, making it suitable for extended use in quiet environments such as offices or shared living spaces.

Questions about this item
Will the 3.15in diameter fit in the same gym bag pocket as my old lacrosse ball?
At 3.14in wide and 0.109kg it occupies roughly the same space as a standard lacrosse ball while adding a textured grip surface.
How can I tell the new grip pattern is actually holding position on the wall?
Press the ball against a vertical surface; the dense EVA foam and patterned grip should resist sliding under body weight up to 500lbs.
Does the TP-61 come with a carry case or just the blue foam ball?
Only the 3.15in blue massage ball is included; no case, strap or additional accessories are supplied.
