Imation Super DLTtape I 160/320GB

The Imation 16260 is a single Super DLTtape I cartridge offering 160GB native and 320GB compressed capacity. It is built for network and data centre environments that require reliable, high-density backup media. The tape supports transfer rates up to 32MB/s for efficient data protection.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This cartridge suits operators of SDLT 200 and SDLT 320 drives needing flexible read/write compatibility across both platforms. It also fits teams wanting media that alerts the drive when cleaning is required. Buyers using LTO, DAT or other non-SDLT formats cannot use this media. Organisations needing multiple cartridges in one purchase should look at multi-pack options.

Deciding specification: 160/320GB capacity

The 160GB native and 320GB compressed capacity is the single figure that determines if this tape matches your backup window and retention plan. Verify that your SDLT 200 or SDLT 320 drive writes at this density before ordering. The Imation Super DLT Cleaning Cartridge provides up to 20 cleanings for the same drive family.
