Two black metal trays for mounting 2.5 drives in 3.5 bays

iMBAPrice

iMBAPrice 2.5" to 3.5" Bay Mounting Bracket Adapter Tray Kit (Pack of 2)

SKU CH-Z46F-JBWDV

Metal tray converts a 3.5" drive bay to accept a 2.5" SSD or HDD, sold as a pair

  • Converts a 3.5" bay for a 2.5" SSD or HDD
  • Metal tray construction provides rigid drive support
  • Pack of two brackets fits multiple drive installations
  • Designed for side-mount cases, not bottom-mount configurations

Pack of Two Bay Adapters

This kit includes two black metal trays that convert a single 3.5-inch drive bay into a mount for one 2.5-inch SSD or hard drive. It is aimed at system builders and upgraders who need to install laptop-class storage in a desktop chassis or server enclosure.

Fixed Side Mounting Only

Each tray secures the 2.5-inch drive from the sides and fits standard 3.5-inch screw holes, but the design does not support cases that require bottom mounting. The drive itself is not included, so buyers needing tool-less rails or bottom-fix brackets will need a different solution.

Questions about this item

Does the metal tray generate any noise or heat when a drive runs continuously?

The bracket is a passive metal tray with no moving parts, so it adds no noise or heat of its own.

What else must I already have for this bracket to work?

You need a 3.5" drive bay in your case and a 2.5" SSD or HDD to install in the tray.
