Code Compliance Check

Verify that the existing electrical box is either a handy box or a 4-inch square box equipped with plaster rings for single switches or receptacles. The extender adjusts up to 1-1/2 inches to meet the 2008 NEC article 314.2 requirement for boxes set back from the wall surface.

Build Quality And Daily Use

The 94V-0 rated plastic construction resists high temperatures while supporting standard switches, receptacles and GFCIs. Its white finish blends with common wall plates, and the adjustable depth ensures a level, secure mounting for wiring devices in retrofit or new construction scenarios.
