The iMBAPrice CE2-2 is a recessed, non-metallic cable plate designed to organise HDMI, coaxial, data and voice wiring behind a wall surface. It suits installers and homeowners who need a clean entry or exit point for communications cabling in residential or light commercial projects. The white, paintable finish allows the plate to blend with surrounding decor once mounted.

Fits Standard Two-Gang Openings Only

The plate covers a standard two-gang cut-out and relies on a low-voltage mounting bracket such as the LV2 for template cutting and secure attachment, though the bracket is sold separately and not strictly required. Without that bracket the installer must provide their own method for cutting the opening and anchoring the plate to the wall cavity. The reversible scoop hood accepts cables from either direction but offers no built-in strain relief or connector termination.

Simple Screw Mount With Separate Bracket

Installation consists of fastening the plate to a mounted bracket using the included drywall screws, then fishing wires through the scoop opening. The most common issue is attempting to secure the plate directly to drywall without a bracket, which can leave the assembly loose or misaligned. The reversible hood must be oriented correctly before final tightening, otherwise cables may kink at the exit point.
