Triple-gang recessed outlet box

The iMBAPrice DVFR3W-2 is a three-gang recessed electrical mounting box designed to run high and low voltage cables behind drywall. It allows televisions and furniture to sit flush against the wall surface. The unit suits both new construction and retrofit projects in residential settings.

Paintable trim and secure mounting

A textured, paintable wall plate covers cut drywall edges for a finished appearance. Positioning tabs ensure accurate placement on studs for half-inch wall thickness. Integrated wings automatically tighten against the wall when screws are driven, preventing movement after installation.

Horizontal or vertical orientation

Each box in the two-pack can be mounted horizontally or vertically to suit the cable routing plan. The package includes the necessary installation screws. Any standard outlet or switch fits inside the recessed cavity.

Questions about this item

How do I install the recessed box and what step is commonly missed?

Cut the drywall opening, insert the box against a stud, use the 1/2-inch positioning tabs for depth, then tighten the screws so the wings rotate and clamp the box; the step often missed is confirming the tabs sit flush before driving the screws.

What maintenance or replacement will the paintable trim plate need later?

The textured trim plate can be repainted whenever the wall colour changes; no other parts require routine maintenance or scheduled replacement.

What physical limit appears first when the box is used continuously with multiple plugs?

The three-gang cavity volume limits how many plug bodies and low-voltage cables can fit behind the wall before the cover plate no longer sits flush.
