Two silver metal F-pin grounding blocks with mounting screws

iMBAPrice

iMBAPrice (Pack of 2) Single 2.5GHz F-Pin Grounding Block accessory

SKU CH-DYZM-0H8F3

Pack of two F-pin grounding blocks rated to 2.5 GHz with mounting screws included

  • Grounds F-pin cables up to 2.5GHz signal range
  • Protects devices from lightning strikes and power surges
  • Weather-resistant metal construction for outdoor durability
  • Standard male F-pin connectors on both ends
  • Includes two mounting screws for secure installation

Purpose and fit

This iMBAPrice grounding block connects to standard male F-pin coax cables on TVs, VCRs, cable boxes, modems or antennas. It grounds the incoming line to reduce static build-up and helps shield connected electronics from lightning strikes and power surges. The pack contains two blocks, each supplied with two mounting screws.

Frequency ceiling

The component is rated to 2.5 GHz, so signals above that range will not pass correctly. It is therefore unsuitable for systems that operate beyond this limit. Installers should verify the operating band of their distribution network before fitting the block.

Capacity and headroom

Each block handles a single F-pin connection, so a second coaxial drop requires the second unit from the pack. The weather-resistant metal housing supports outdoor or indoor mounting, but the device provides no amplification or signal splitting beyond the single grounded path.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the single block or the pack of two for my setup?

The pack of two provides a spare grounding block, useful if you need to ground multiple coaxial cables at different entry points.

What does the 2.5GHz rating mean for my cable modem or antenna signal?

The 2.5GHz bandwidth supports current cable internet and over-the-air TV frequencies without signal loss.

Does the F-pin interface limit the frequencies I can run through it?

The standard F-pin connectors pass signals up to the rated 2.5GHz, covering typical coaxial applications.
