iMBAPrice RJ45 black Ethernet strain relief boots 500 pack

SKU CH-GN7S-2K5VQ

A pack of 500 black RJ45 strain-relief boots protects Ethernet connectors during cable assembly or repair

  • Product typeEthernet
  • Pack of 500 boots covers large cable-making projects
  • Black rubber protects RJ45 clips from snapping during handling
  • Coloured boots simplify cable identification in dense racks
  • Flexible material slides on easily without tools
  • Rubber construction resists cracking through repeated insertions

Network cable boot pack

This pack contains five hundred RJ45 strain relief boots designed for Ethernet cable assembly and repair. The rubber boots protect connector tabs and reduce cable stress during installation or daily use. They suit IT technicians, installers and hobbyists who build or maintain wired networks.

Suits high-volume cable makers

Buyers who terminate large numbers of Cat5e or Cat6 cables will value the bulk quantity. The pack is less practical for anyone needing only a few boots for a single home project or occasional repair. Users requiring coloured boots for cable identification should look elsewhere.

Five hundred boots per pack

The single deciding figure is the pack size of five hundred pieces. This volume matches production runs, data-centre deployments or resale bundles. If your workload needs significantly fewer boots, a smaller pack will reduce waste and storage space.

Questions about this item

What cable diameter do the 45 mm boots fit?

The boots are 45 mm long and stretch over standard RJ45 plugs on typical Cat5e or Cat6 patch cable.

How do I install a boot without it sliding back off the connector?

Slide the boot onto the cable before crimping the plug, then seat it fully over the latch tab so the internal ridge locks behind the plug body.

When should I replace a boot on a finished patch lead?

Replace it when the rubber cracks, the latch tab catches on the boot, or the boot no longer grips the plug firmly.
