White Cat5e RJ45 Keystone Jack

This white Cat5e RJ45 punch-down keystone jack provides a reliable termination point for category 5e network cables. It features 50 micron gold-plated contacts to maximise conductivity and resist corrosion over time. The jack is UL and cUL listed for safety compliance.

Installers terminating Cat5e cabling

Suited for network installers and IT professionals terminating Cat5e solid or stranded conductors in wall plates or patch panels. Not intended for fibre optic, coaxial or higher-category copper cabling such as Cat6 or Cat6a. Buyers needing shielded or tool-less keystones should look elsewhere.

50 micron gold-plated contacts

The 50 micron gold plating on the contact pins delivers superior corrosion resistance compared with thinner platings, ensuring long-term signal integrity in humid or contaminated environments. This specification is the key factor when choosing a keystone for durable, high-conductivity connections.

Questions about this item

Does the keystone jack generate any noise, heat or draw power when it is running all day?

No, it is a passive connector with no active electronics, so it produces no noise, no heat and consumes no power.

What cable and tools must I already own to terminate this Cat5e jack?

You need solid or stranded Cat5e cable and a punch-down tool that matches the jack's termination style, plus a standard keystone wall plate or patch panel for mounting.

Will this white Cat5e keystone work alongside older Cat5 or Cat3 patch panels I may keep?

Yes, it meets the Cat5e standard and fits any standard keystone opening, so it interoperates with existing Cat5 or Cat3 panels while supporting higher bandwidth on the new links.
