Product identity

INCOM Manufacturing Group PMA457 Arrow Tape is a self-adhesive pipe marker supplied in roll form for facility maintenance teams and safety coordinators who need clear directional flow indication on piping systems. The black legend on a gray background provides high contrast for quick visual identification in industrial and commercial environments.

Sustained performance

The polyethylene construction resists moisture and common industrial contaminants so the printed arrow remains legible after prolonged exposure to wash-downs, humidity and temperature cycling. Adhesive backing maintains bond on clean, dry pipe surfaces without curling or lifting during continuous service.

Installation checks

Verify that the pipe outer diameter and insulation thickness allow the four-inch-wide marker to wrap or lie flat without excessive overlap. Confirm the mounting surface is free of oil, dust and loose paint so the adhesive achieves full contact across the 108-foot roll length.

Questions about this item

Does the adhesive on the PMA457 arrow tape hold up under continuous heat from nearby pipes?

The tape uses a self-adhesive backing on polyethylene film designed for pipe marking; it is supplied in roll form for continuous application on clean, dry surfaces.

What surface preparation or tools are needed before applying the 4-inch wide roll?

The adhesive pipe marker requires a clean, dry pipe surface; no additional mounting hardware or primer is specified for the roll-form format.

Will the black legend on gray background stay legible on older, faded pipe insulation?

The black text on gray background provides contrast for pipe identification; the 0.004 in thick polyethylene resists moisture and abrasion on existing insulation.
